"In the beginning, the darkness and the light is separated and the world was born."So begins the prologue of Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom , and, to tell the truth, is the first and last mention of a plot line in the game. Always the same rigamarole with names and times: Niblo, Lord of Light, and Encablossa, Lord of Darkness, to avoid tensions and wars decide to alternate control of the planet-to-head era. Well it is obvious is not it? The cycle stops when Niblo, tired of having to start from scratch each time at the beginning of his reign, he decides to break the covenant and at the end of his turn, refuses to pass the baton to Encablossa which, needless to say, do not take it all well, unleashing his legions against those of his light antagonist.
Here, this is the whole plot, and do not expect much more for the rest of the game. Much is left to interpretation or imagination. Fancy me away Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom is undecided. He does not know whether to be an RPG or a hack'n'slash could then take the worst of the two categories and place in a very bleak from both visually and technically.
