I have gone to settings and did a Bluetooth scan and not at all found any devices. Is there a different way to do it, or am I doing this process incorrect?

Are you annoying to sync official ps3 Bluetooth headset if so then the easiest way to sync it is by hooking headset straight to the ps3 I.E not during its charging base at peak of the headset must be a USB power enclosed by a tab by hooking it up straight it auto syncs the headset and charges it.

Yes utilize that to sync it but utilize charge base to charge it. Or else to sync it hold down power button when turning it on, when it turns on remain it detained down till red mute circle light blinks in exchange to the green power light, this means it’s in pairing mode. You have to set your ps3 to search for a Bluetooth device in Bluetooth device area of settings, when your syncing it will ask for a pass code the pass code for the official one is 0000.
