Thread: HD do not upgrades why?

I have a 60GB PS3 and improved utilizing this 250GB Samsung HM250HI Spin point M7, 2.5", SATA 3 GB/s, 5400rpm, 8MB Cache, 12 ms, NCQ. I installed it as I must. But I am getting a message saying no update data was found. I downloaded software from the website and place it in "G: PS3>UPDATE>" and infrequently it finds it and arranges update. But when it gets to 45% it stops and comes up with original message.

Does anybody have any thoughts on how I can sort it?

I searched this on Google and this is what I have found "download update to a USB bond, start PS3 in safe mode stay till the start button pending you hear three beeps and then go to system update and you could do it from there no troubles." I expect this helps. I have as well found that if you go to network setting in settings that if you disable media connection it helped the majority people as well.

You cannot downgrade you PS3 at all. So you are going have to stay till further update is accessible. But the majority people are saying even that putting it on USB and doing it from there works and turning off your media connection. It shouldn’t be long somebody out there is expectantly working on a new one as there is so lots of you with troubles.

No you couldn't chum, if you found 3.40 you yet couldn't access online purposes to upgrade to 3.41, it totally locks your online access. Just stay it will be solved rapidly, usually some days if that once Sony are conscious. Just utilize your original had for now until its sorted pal. This is why I hate firmware.
