You are great when it comes to fragging opponents to pulp during LAN parties. Shouldn't your headphone match-up to that too? What you need is the Pazer Megalodon, to frag all other cans in sight. As heavy as the name, this product is heavy on the specs too. It features 7.1 channels of surround sound via Pazer's very own secret technology.
If you are a gamer, trust us, you ,don't care much about the finer elements of sonics while you melt your opponents to juicy pulp. And that is exactly why the sound quality of the Megalodon is good for you. The bass is rich and you will be able to hear clear vocals as your opponents bark them at you via the mic For those gamers who also like to listen to music and watch movies on headphones, the Megalodon might be something you could skip.
We say this because whatever sound processing Pazer uses on the inside, just can't conjure up the might to reproduce ear-rendering sonics while listening to music and movies. The bass though powerful does not have clarity. Which means you will hear explosions real loud but miss out the finer bits of the sonics, like the richochet sound made after a really wicked bullet leaves a rifle.
The touch-based in-line remote is a good add-on. It looks like a detached module from a OJ console and lets you take charge of a variety of controls while you frag your opponents senseless.
Via this you can choose from the regular stereo or the virtual 7.1-channel surround mode. You can even fine- tune the levels of each of of the channels. We agree the remote looks space-age difficult to begin with, but later on you won't be complaining.
At the price these cans are offered, they are expensive if you consider the sound quality, which clearly isn't mind-blowing. But on the good side, they are comfortable to be worn for long, okay, really long gaming sessions.
