The printing speeds are reasonably fast if you're printing only on one side, but duplex printing is a bit slow. There is a slight pause before it prints on the other side ... allowing the first one to dry first. Printing photos is quite fast too, and so is the scanning speed. The print quality is pristine, especially for blacks and for photos. Overall. a very capable workhorse, if you need one.
