The large 4.1 inch touch screen of the Galaxy S beats the iPhone’s display in many areas. Chief among these are the contrast, brightness, viewing angle, which are the best in the market, although the iPhone still has better resolution. It could easily be mistaken for a 3rd generation iPhone model. The Galaxy S is slightly fatter, especially at the base, taller and wider but has a stylish dialer too. It is really disappointing to see these good looks not translated into functioning. The plastic rear cover does feel weak, and incapable of withstanding a fall on to the pavement.
