In a bid to make its Omnia series of handsets more attractive to the middle level consumers, Samsung has launched its much awaited Omnia 5 pro. The handset seems to be the improved version of the earlier model *Samsung B7350 Omnia Pro 4. The design appears to be inspired by BlackBerry handsets.
It is bar shaped and features a 2.4 inch TFT colour display, along with a full QWERTY keypad. The handset is 3G and WiFi enabled and supports up to 3.6Mbps of download speeds. Social networking applications have been integrated in the UI. The only drawback we came across is the 2.0 megapixel camera. The device runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and is optimised for a faster perfor*mance. The internal memory of 220 MB can be enhanced to up to 16GB through a microSD card.
