With millions spent on Research , Unique Marketing strategy with lot of fanfare Samsung had launched “smarter than smart phone” Samsung JET with the model number S8000 It is loaded with characteristics according to the specifications sheet – 800mhz CPU,AMOLED resistive touchscreen.3D cube interface , 3.1-inch display, 5-megapixel camera, DivX/Xvid support, Wi-Fi and 2 GB built-in memory.


One can simple go down in love with it once it acquires in hand because it’s too light and act as a status symbol also. The Form factor is actually worth appreciating believing the feature set. Allows dive in and encounter if its smarter as compared to the smart phone.




Hardware is solid and gives simple gripping. It has just three keys in the front end – calling button, end calling button and a hexagon menu button in the center . The Menu button minimizes the resent running app and long press of this button lets users to end every application in one go. The AMOLED display is one of the best in the market place and is extreme antiphonal also though its resistive.


The display functions really well indoors but not extremely usable under direct sunlight. The phone is prone to pick up dust and finger prints simple, but this is the case with most touchscreen phones . The trouble exists also in the iPhone 3GS and the HTC Hero which asserted to address the matter with a Oleo phobic display.


On the left slope of the device you will encounter the volume rocker keys. On the right slope you will encounter the lock key and the camera key along with the 3D Cube key. On the top you have the micro USB port an the 3.5mm audio jack. On the back you will encounter the camera along with the flash.
