Samsung's top of the line mobile phone, the i900 has just been launched by the company. Finally named Samsung i900 Omnia, it is based on Windows Mobile (version 6.1) and comes across as a competitor to the 3G iPhone. The Omnia has a 3.2 inch LCD that is capable of 240 x 400 resolution. There is also an optical mouse that is similar to the one in the Samsung i780. The camera has a 5MP senor with auto focusing mechanism, face detection, smile detection and auto-panorama and adds Geotagging using a built-in GPS receiver. The phone is 12.5mm thick and comes with 8GB and a 16GB. Besides, there is also a microSD slot to expand storage capacity.
