WHO SAYS BUSINESS phones need to look business-like (read boring)?? A slider phone dressed up in iPodesque white, its wheel navigator also reminds one of this iconic music player. About the same size as a deck of cards but half as thick, it's quite compact when closed, but feels slightly plasticky. The aforementioned wheel is actually a disc that rotates physically in contrast to the touch wheel on the iPod. Surprisingly, this compact device also manages to hide a full-blown QWERTY keyboard. Running Windows Mobile 6 Standard, the phone boasts ofHSDPA, but sadly no WiFi. Preloaded goodies include a full web package along with ClearVue Document Viewer.
A complete range of scheduling apps is also available, don't tell your mini-skirted secretary though - she might just start looking out for different job options. The navigation wheel definitely does it's bit to ease navigation, especially while surfing the web or scrolling through long lists or documents. The touch buttons on the fascia on the other hand, are overŽsensitive, and it's very easy to register a false touch. The QWERTY works as advertised, but it may be an issue for those with large digits. While its music capabilities are standard WinMo, dual speakers at the rear add a bit of depth. The camera is quite average, though. Go for it if you're on the lookout for a stylish smartphone that will make you stand out from the crowd.
