Sony Ericsson is among the first manufacturers to have released new products at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. These Xperia Neo and Neo Pro, two smartphones running Android 2.3 (codename Gingerbread).
A thin difference changes only slightly the "form factor of the two products, the Neo is a little thinner (11.6 x 5.7 x 1.3 cm) and lightweight (126 grams) that the Xperia Pro (12 x 5.7 x 1.35 cm and 140 grams). They both have a touch screen (capacitive) of 9.4 inches diagonal (854 x 480 pixels) operating a Sony technology, The Reality Mobile Display with Bravia Engine. This would provide a striking image quality. The screen also benefit from a scratch-resistant coating.
Both devices operate on the basis of a fairly basic processor today, the Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8255) running at 1 GHz. They also include a flash memory of 320 MB and comes with a MicroSD card 8 GB.
Consisting of a headphone jack, an HDMI video output (it is unclear whether the adapter is provided) and a micro-USB jack for charging and connecting the camera to his computer. Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi are integrated. With the latter, a DLNA to watch his videos on remote (NAS server, PC lit, etc..).
