Sony Ericsson's C702 is the lessconvoluted sister of the C902 which I reconsidered a some weeksearlier and enjoyed. As the C902 this is an entrant in SonyEricsson's Cyber-shot scope and its emphasis is with cameracapability.

But there is another good material going with herealso. This is a quad-band GSM mobile on HSDPA and a front-facingcamera for 2-way video-calling. It has 150 MB of inbuilt memory andthe common Memory Stick Micro support. The slot is with the leftslope of the encasing and thus is simply approachable.

Iteven, like is the trend for higher end mobiles at the moment, integrates a GPS antenna. This can be applied to geotag photos aswell as for other activities.

Geotagging capability will sit gladlyin the phone for as long as you apply it. The same goes for thepre-setup copy of Google Maps and the Tracker application that can beapplied to monitor your speed and distance and could double like atraining aid if you do not expect the lent characteristics youacquire from devoted equipment.

You can even apply the C702for point-to-point navigation. This arrives through the Way seekersoftware. The software is pre - setup but I understand that you justacquire it for a trial period, and later that, you will require topay to proceed on it.

One point with common managing is worthproducing extreme early with. I had the Devil's own job acquiring thebattery cover off. Today, this is not in itself a deal breaker forany mobile phone. Later everything, how frequent are you probably toexpect to acquire to the SIM slot or delete the battery?

I donot object to the physical battery lock which can be rotated with afingernail. What galls is that I really had to bring a pen-knife tothe cover to acquire it off instead of applying the normalpush-and-slide method. The risk of breaking the cover applying mysystem is high, and if I had purchased this phone I would hate havingto do it. Poor plan, Sony Ericsson.
