One of the prime reasons why I always go gaga over Sony Ericsson is the impeccable design and form factor they pack in each device. The K660i is a candybar phone, but available with some refreshing color schemes; shown here is wine on black, but you can also get lime green, cyan or silver on black. The round keypad buttons are well spaced out and the 5way D-pad is familiar.
The UI is similar to most SE phones but navigation is comparatively sluggish, especially while playing videos. It has a 2 MP fixed focus camera without flash or even a cover. Photos are good in daylight, but suffer from a lot of noise. You can give funny tweaks to your pics using the FaceWarp feature though. Music player is there of course, but this is no Walkman, so you can't plug in any earphones you like. You have to make do with the supplied set or buy the adapter for 3.5mm earphones separately.

The highlight in the K660i is the new web browser. You can browse a web page horizontally, to take advantage of the length of the screen. With the web browser on, keys 3,6,9 and # light up. In this mode, they double up as shortcut keys for Google search, bookmarks, home page or zoom/pan respectively. The phone is good value, but in the same price range, you can consider buying the SE K790i or Nokia N73, which have much better cameras and similar features.
