Why is it good? Classy looks, curved edges and a metal finish - Sony's newest Walkman avatar is as sleek as a CD case (a mere 9.9mm!) and puts all other cellphones to shame. Not only is this an awesome music phone, but on the multimedia front this has it all: a 3.2 megapixel camera (with a secondary video-call camera), video playback, video games and even FM radio.

The newly improved Walkman version 3,0 software makes accessing your music a breeze, while the built in SensMe™ technology lets you even create playlists based on mood (pertect for those long rides on your daily commute). The best bit? See someone doing something they shouldn't be doing shoot a video clip on this and all it takes to upload it on the web is a few clicks. Note to those fooling around with the boss's secretary: be afraid, be very afraid.

Need to know: Unlike its flawed predecessor W880i, this no longer has midgetsized key; and sports a slightly bigger screen at 2inchs. Being ultra light doesn't stop it from packing quite a punch as it's a 3.5G phone with quad-band GSM, UMTS, HSDPA at 850 MHz and EDGE class 10 enough technology to please even the most picky techno-freak. But be warned: Internal memory is or a disappointing 26MB, which only necessitates adding the bundled 2GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) included with a stereo portable hands free, USB cable and PC software in the phone kit.
