Thread: Problem connecting Sony Ericsson W800 to PC?

I install oll the software (PC SUITE), USB cable drivers and Disc to Phone software, but when I Connect the phone to the PC, the "Add New Hardware" wizard appears for "Memory Stick"These phones use Sonys own Memory Stick (M2) (memory card) and Im sure you don't get drivers from memory sticks/cards. Help***This is exactly what I attempted to do (install drivers from the CD) but it could not find them. **** I will try again from scratch

We got the same Phone model and I did'nt have any problem installing, PC suite is a program and also disc to phone, but your sony needs drivers as a device to be recognized, The driver can be found in the CD with your phone, first step is that you check if those drivers are installed,So to check it out go to control panel and click device manager and you will find that unknown device has exclamation point with yellow colors, open its properties and click update driver. this will install drivers for your phone.
