After the Xperia Xl, Sony Ericsson is set to launch the Xperia X10, which runs on a new UX (user experience) platform. The device runs on Google Android Donut, version 1.6. It has a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 processor. The phone is equipped with a 4.0-inch scratch resistant TFT touchscreen.

The X10 boasts of an 8.1-megapixel camera with 16x digital zoom and Auto Focus. Other camera features include intelligent face recognition, image and video stabiliser, flash and smile detection. The phone also has an accelerometer and gesture control. Location-based services include A-GPS, Google Maps and Wisepilot turn-by-turn navigation. The device has Wi-Fi capabilities and will be available in the first quarter of 2010.
