Sony Ericsson Spiro is the latest addition to the brand's music phone segment. It seems that the phone maker has taken cue from Nokia's experiments to combine social networking platforms with a rich music experience. From Twitter to Facebook, users can catch up with friends at just a touch of a button while still listening to their favorite music on the Walkman player.

The gadget is a compact slider phone sporting a 2.2 inch QVGA display. It is a Quad Band GPRS and EDGE phone but doesn't support 3G connectivity. The 2.0-megaixel auto focus camera has been thrown in to address your imaging needs. However, lack of flash may limit the quality of the photographs.

Spiro's internal memory is capped at a paltry 5 MB, which however can be extended up to 16GB through a microSD card. With music as its core strength, the device is expected to provide rich music experience. The phone features Walkman 4.0 music player and stereo FM radio with RDS support. The users may also utilize its 3.5 mm audio jack to connect it to their external sound systems.
