Sony has decided to update its ultraportable Vaio S-format 13.3-inch Intel platform in Huron River with new processor options, graphics card and resolution.
The Sony Vaio S has therefore an option Sandy Bridge processors i5-2520M (2.5 GHz) andCore i7-2620m (2.7 GHz), enough to increase overall performance.
Side graphic part as he is currently equipped with a 512 MB Radeon HD6470M dedicated, it can be equipped with a Radeon HD6630M 1GB dedicated. It offers much better performance than the first, positioning themselves between a Mobility Radeon HD5650 and Geforce GT 540M.
Like the Radeon HD6470M, the Radeon HD6630M is also coupled to the Intel GMA 3000 HD integrated processor Sandy Bridge, which increase battery life when the performance of the dedicated graphics card is not considered necessary.
Various storage options are also provided with the new Sony Vaio S, as an SSD of 128 GB or 2 SSD in RAID 0 for a total capacity of 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB A Blu-Ray also on the program, in addition to the DVD recorder and player combo Blu-ray/DVD.
