The ultraportable 11.6-inch Sony Vaio YB is updated with the new APU Zacate AMD Dual Core E-450 which has the characteristic to integrate a Turbo mode with some Radeon HD6320M. The new Sony Vaio YB3V1E also has a good storage space, the HDMI and weighing less than 1.5 kg, all under AMD Brazos platform.

Associated with 4 GB of RAM, the APU provides benefits in using correct basic multitasking (office, Internet surfing, etc.). With its Radeon HD6320M part, it also delivers on graphics performance roughly equivalent to Nvidia's ION. HD video playback poses no concern and it is possible to play some old tires resource intensive 3D by making some concessions. Turbo mode is also useful in this area to get the frequency of the graphics from 508 MHz to 600 MHz when the need arises.

The presence of an HDMI output is more to broadcast HD content on an HD TV for example. There are also VGA, audio ports, Ethernet, three USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi n and Bluetooth, just what a lot of users.

Ladalle 11.6-inch 16:9 format takes a shiny finish while matte is best suited for an ultraportable as less prone to glare and therefore more readable outdoors for example. Finally, autonomy is correct as advertised weight. However, we regret that Sony installs a 32-bit Windows 7. A 64-bit version would have been more appropriate to take much part of the 4 GB of RAM.
