Note that the Sony warranty on parts repaired (if you’re already out of warranty) is only for 90 days (if I'm not mistaken).

Put it in the oven, which may decide to work again and think of the GPU at least like this, you will say plate, but worth a shot, save 700 and buy a new lappy.

I think the OP may want to try SICE suggestion that she has nothing more to lose, it makes him / her? Who knows? The OP of the "extended warranty" can be covered by your credit card company.

My recording correspondence and flew, as on panel recording card - they need 700.00 to repair it. It is only 1 twelvemonth and 5 months old and is not under warranty - warranty is invalid after 1 year.
