Sony’s VAIO Z and VAIO Y line-up laptop the first out-of-the-box laptops that serves as an individual mobile hotspot. The company is releasing new designs of these series that characteristic the new Sony Share My Connection (SMC) fixed wireless sharing technology.

Thanks to the SMC, VAIO Z and VAIO Y laptop can be utilized as a mobile wireless access point that can link up to five other WiFi-capable devices.
