Thread: Calibration problem

I came here a few months ago to buy a Pioneer A209 amp, Eltax and of a sound card ASUS Xonar DX.

I just buy them recently and I installed the driver and sound card. I notice a slight hiss and the sound is most definitely not super. It lacks depth, it "sounds" wrong, sounds are not harmonious, it's hurting the ears.

I'm a little disgusted because the kit LG 2.1 that I had before (in passing that costs half the price) to sound much better.

This being my first purchase Hifi (you can tell?) I need help. Thank you in advance to all who respond!

The enclosure is connected to the amp power cable with "ordinary" buy in a drugstore.
The amplifier connected to the sound card via a cable audio jack ---> red and white output. I followed the instructions for connecting so I think that the problem comes from there.

What you describe is very weird and completely wrong: it should not be any cracking or parasite with this kind of stuff. Try to put pictures of your amp and speaker branchemets, we see what happens.

I uh no MP3 device at hand: s. I did not touch the sound card drivers but now that you reminded me I would be careful.

By listening in parallel with another kit 2.0 I feel that the mine acts as a single post can I describe my feelings hurt but I did not feel that it's stereo. I give you pictures right away.

It was the first idea that came to mind: on your HP, there are 2 pairs of terminals that must be linked together (at the base there is a small metal tab that connects them). In this configuration, you only supply the tweeters, or unpleasant side.
