Thread: 2500K 2600K OR i5 i7?

I have a question, not disturbing but it makes me turn in my head.

I want to do another pc which would be in about the 900 € budget (with an MSI GeForce GTX 560 Twin Ti Frozr II graphics card as such).

I said that the pc will last a minimum of 2 years. 2 processors are very efficient I know, but I wonder which one would be better over time.

I know that the i7 Hyper-Threading has 2600K, 2500K, while the i5 has not.

Is that this system is well over time?

Yes but its graphics card will not bother, as I said I'll take the MSI GeForce GTX 560 1GB Ti Twin Frozr II => A monster and very well cooled.
