Default TimelineX 3820TG or Sony Vaio SB

    Hello to all.

Here I will give myself a 13 "with a nice graphics card but I hesitate between two config at the price equivalent then I probe to know your opinion and can be found enlightenment.

Sony Vaio SB (i5 2.5GHz Sandy Bridge, HD6630M, 320GB HDD) with his design class, backlit keyboard, usb3, SATA3 etc.

TimelineX 3820TG (2.66GHz i5 not sandy bridge, HD6550) cheaper and less class, but which I would add a 250GB SSD vertex2. I'm really undecided, the perfs are almost equivalent so it is: quality and look of advantage against Sony ssd.

The question is, for you, ect that these three elements are needed you, more, or worry you crazy?

Personally I would tend to TimelineX which, with an SSD, so the same price, shall have the overall superior perf thanks especially SSD.

But it is true that the choice is very difficult for me these are two very good value for pc perf / weight / battery life / price san sme mistake I say, moreover, the two best.

I voted the Vaio Sb, for its looks and image and also because I just ordered. In terms of perfs I still give the advantage to Vaio (with SSD mounted on the Acer is different. You will earn in boot speed, efficiency and load time of your apps reduced).

Did you really need 250GB SSD? From a personal point of view, rather I would install a 128 (or 160GB) for the OS and some apps I use most and I would take a bigger HDD for storing large files. In fact I still find the 256GB expensive but this is only me.

It was really two pc comparable with similar performance, it will be more details on subjective than anything else, I invite you to visit the TimelineX store to see if you like, if you stay a little about your hunger He'll remain the SB, better finish, build quality and superior materials, 2 year warranty as M2k said.

It's true that Sony is sexier and has newer components, it is favorite. But for the price of € 1070 in the version I'm interested, I can have 3820 + + SSD180Go transition to 8 GB of RAM + 750GB HHD home I put in external enclosure -> making it as attractive the Vaio SB.

Anyway I feel sad that the disaster in Japan will decide for me, no news from Sony, so if it takes four months to return to production delays + 1 month.
