Thread: however to make info format notebook computer from cause??????

I have an aim 4710z notebook with intelpentium processor T2080. Due to viruses I reformatted like a desktopPC and also deleted all the partitions. I am using windows xp SP-2and throughout the installation process, it acquired hang up duringwindows set up. Can I however install the OS as I am not cognizantabout the recovery CD?

I've yet to watch common people restore without recovery (CD or the on hard disk method.) You lead above with XP, I asked a question but you didn't answer. Tell the forum more and if this is the model I know of, Acer can supply recovery media.

Earlier formatting I have booked directly from the windows xp CD without pressing ALT-F10. Then I deleted all the partitions and created the novel ones. After that I started formatting the C Drive and throughout the installation the language and regional settings display looks but when I press the next button, there is no response which I cannot continue further.

How did you yield XP the capability to back up this SATA Drive? It's that one thing that stumps common people that want to install XP on machines that didn't arrive with XP. At least it's widely discussed still I did not acquire an answer from you about this or how you HD XP installed earlier.

Previously the xp was installed in the shop but this time i want to do it myself. I have downloaded the sata driver from acer website. I have attempted to integrate this SATA Driver with XP by means of Nlite software but during the integrating process I could not encounter the .inf file from the extracted SATA Driver. Is there any other way?

I experience it must benumbing to become over what appears to be a small detail but unless that's a XP SP2 or later on version I have however to see that NLITE method work. Still it fails time and time again which is why I always regress to what you read about all over.



1. Put the SATA Drivers on a floppy and keep the USB FLOPPY Drive on the machine earlier we start the install. We apply the F6 SATA FLOPPY system.

2. See around the bios for IDE ambition or other SATA modes.

You substitute the drive or you take it to a shop. Substituting a laptop drive is broadly documented so that's not the issue here but I find some owners can't bring themselves to use screw drivers or purchase the drive for many causes. Those frequently finish up at a shop counter.

That's not a bad thing. Not everyone wants to become a PC repair person.
