Anyone here has any known on HPPavilion DV4-3145TX laptop? If yes how would you place this laptop inthe competition of laptop ? Are there any matters that I should becognizant of?

Hey I have this laptop works great for me exclude the open gl applications that d not open with AMD graphics which is in each laptop with dynamic switching of graphics with AMD graphics though this is solved by using unofficial modded drivers rest all is quite good for the laptop except that you require to take very care of laptop lid like it is prone to scratches I must refer graphics card is terrific.

I can overclock it to AMD 6770m clocks and acquire also better results in games though be sure of temps. Laptop is lightweight and power full so 9/10 in functioning 8/10 in looks overall a good purchase.

Thanks. I went ahead and purchased this laptop. I set up deus ex human revolution. Though playing it in DX11 mode there is a black bar at the right edge, even I can not alter result or aspect ratio. Though playing in DX9 way none of these troubles occur. Any idea why?

Great, where did you purchase it. I could not detect this model with website. Also the retailers here are even not containing the dv4 series.

Guys please contribute contact details of the dealers. I am even appearing forward to purchase it, but everybody tells that it has been ceased.

I purchased it from HP world in Chandigarh and it was just usable there and later sometime acquired out of stock from there even you can do one thing go to website and search dv4 3016tx it is out of stock and u should then click on notify me when available icon and if there is enough demand they might get it rear search other retailers even.

Yes, I am certain, its been stopped. But it would not affect your back up. As well, when did you purchase it??

By default the 750 gb hd in my system arrived on 4 partitions:
system-199 MB, C drive-684 GB, hp_tools-99 MB, recovery-13.55 GB

I desire to reallocate 80gb to C and make two other partitions with the free space available. I attempted to shrivel the C drive applying win 7's in built disk management, but it displayed me that available shrink space is about 330GB. How do I acquire about this?
