Default Acer Aspire One - Please assist me

    Hello ,
I lately stepped with myD250 Aspire One Netbook. At first the display would display lightlike it is powered with but you could watch where the pressure hadbeen applied and where the split in the display was. I brought theNetbook to a local PC shop who had it for almost 3 weeks. I went rearto collect and they told me they had attempted different displays butnone of them are working. I have had it rear off them like they werecharging me a much more of money and I require to attempt to repairmyself.

If it is not the display, what else could it be? Atfirst I thought it might be the Black Display of Death and a BIOSflash was required, still I can hear the Windows Logon sound playwhen the computer has booted up. I have still attempted the flashapplying FN Key and Esc technique but nothing occurs. The netbookscreens exactly if I plug into a monitor. Please somebody what is thetrouble here?

If it works on a monitor it would be the display , ribbon looking cables connecting the display to the MB , the power for the display.

You should be able to substitute the display without opening up the main chassis of the machine, hopefully the damage is not on the main board, which if it works off external screen should not be the case. once you have a suitable substitution display.

I had a customer that had their display quit.... they claimed...... it seemed as somebody punched it anyways.. Similar matter basically... while worked exactly from the VGA out with it ... plugged into a monitor.... I could not acquire the display to work regardless of what i did. It was as the connection at the motherboard itself was not working at all... Thus I think this may be a common trouble with rough apply of the Acer netbook or when something occurs to the display perchance.
