Thread: XPS 15 as well Windows 8 not capable to install nVidia drivers?

Well they setup, but I am met with asolid blue display in the color of my theme and windows won't load. Iattempted installing just the drivers, but it would not work. Hasanybody handled to create it work?

I have only had similar matter on mine, it booted okay later setup but then it bsod and acquired stuck with blue display on boot.

I have had a matter as that so, while I have not been certain it was the Nvidia driver particularly, since it did not happen right away after installing...

Hmm, appears to be a a matter with these drivers. I guess we want to wait a little longer for an updated one. I have a rule of thumb when testing OS; if I can not acquire the basic functionality working then I would not annoy using until it is resolved.

But then again I only installed all... very slowly... on restore points between each... and no troubles.

It worked for me when I applied the drivers off the recovery disk, which I believe is the 265.94. Then when I attempted to setup the latest ones, this bug occurs. I am going to wait for new drivers for the GT540M and then setup those and test.
