Thread: HP laptop trouble

I had posted this in computer assist -did not experience. I was updating the HP advisor last night and thesetup froze all. Therefore, I manually turned it off and re-began.Merely a black display when turned rear on. Attempted to push F8 atstart-up this morning however merely a black display.
Anysuggestion would be greatly appreciated. Laptop 2 - 3 years oldrunning windows 7 home premium.

First step do unplug each USB things and attempt again. Next time let us listen the make, model number merely in case it is one of the experienced bad models.

Older HP Pavilion DV series laptops can have this form of boot troubles sometimes when either the battery or motherboard is coming closer its life cycle. The laptop simply can not begin the POST and can therefore not boot.
