I'm trying to fix a buddies laptop laptop or computer that had a "Windows Recovery" malware on it that triggered all information to be invisible, and also ran a bogus check out that clogged all use of your laptop or computer. I got the information returning and everything seems to be operating, but I have no desktop laptop or computer symbols and a right-click on the desktop laptop or computer does nothing. Can anyone help. I have used Malwarebytes and a number of other little applications so far.

Ok, try this. Start>run>regedit>ok That will start your laptop or windows registry writer. Now go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Application > Ms > Ms windows > Present Edition > Guidelines > Explorer. In the right section you should see a number of items. One has to do with "NoDriveType". Neglect that one. Let me know what other items you see.
