    Default Android Application Availability

    Hello all,

The alpha test is completed, and I'm launching the application in public beta right away. I call it even beta, because there may be troubles with the plugin install and inconsistency on the android instrument.

Merry christmas to every one. Please note that I'm making this in my free time, hence I will respond as soon as I can.

As well, please don't use cracked version of Invelos' DVD Profiler. Purchase it and register it. We all require Invelos to stay alive and running the database.

I was extreme excited to attempt this, but alas, it won't run on my Win7 64-bit as user or admin and the .apk file has a parse error when I attempt to set up on my phone. I notice that on your web site the setup is 861.14 KB but all I manage to get is 47 KB after download.

Attempted to set up this on a Galaxy Tab. Installation of the apk and the plugin look to be okay, but the plugin does not encounter the Android device to begin the sync process. Attempted through Wifi and USB. Am I missing something?

I only saw in another thread that install on an sdcard may be problematic. If hence that makes a trouble for sure tablets, where the internal memory is "logically" linked as an sdcard, still though physically it is not an sdcard at all.

I also, encounter the directories and the "droid dvdp is here" stub on the Android device, still the plugin is not too clever to encounter them.

I finally figured out the issue on the file size deviation. I set up the program on my phone
and I Ran It Once . I installed the plugin. Flagged some movies, checked the appropriate options.
I receive an error message: Cannot find program. You must run one time...etc.

OK. I stopped there, went rear, ran the program again. Attempted to acquire it realized.

Again no joy. My first install was to my SD card.
    1) Are SD cards and issue?
    2) What folder in the main memory do you require to keep the apk in to be capable to set up it?Phone HTC Droid unbelievable 2, not rooted, 4 GB main, 16 GB micro sd card

    Another connecting-problem!

Set up of App and Plugin worked fine as far as I can tell, but when I click on the Refresh-Button to encounter my Smartphone the eternal hourglass shows up.
Can be blocked just if I kill the process abd.exe which brings the error-message: "Invalid response from ABD. Please analyze version." which might have something to say or not ...

My Acer Liquid has Android 2.2, is frozen, is linked per WiFi and has an IP from the same subnet my PC is in.

Is there something extra to do on the android? I must declare that I'm form of a noob as far as android is involved, I only use it.

Guys, here are some explanations about how it works.

The application on the device make the directory droid_dvdp in the directory it acquires from the Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory().getAbsol utePath() function. The directory is showed in the setting & tools. Generally, it should be /mnt/sdcard/droid_dvdp.

You must enable 'USB debugging' in the 'settings' -> 'applications' -> 'Development'
and/or (not sure yet, but I think its OR). Have HTC sync installed on the PC.

The device MUST NOT BE CONNECTED AS EXTERNAL STORAGE (in this mode, the device cannot access the sdcard), and not in charge precisely, but it must be in HTC SYNC.

    Hope this will help.
