Thread: Apple functioning on iOS4

Hi,
We are working on an update thus that Myst will run on iOS4. Of course, nothing can be as simple as only fixing the system volume function in question but we have to alter plenty of the app to produce sure it is compatible with 3.x as well as 4.0.
(Apple likes to make sure developers have plenty of (extra) work )


Hopefully, we should be ready to present an update to Apple by the end of the week, Hence depending on how rapidly Apple can examine it and acquire it on the app store (there may a lot of developers submitting updates for 4.0!), it might be a couple weeks earlier it is available. I'll hold you posted.


By the way , everything this is the like for Myst Free and Myst Japan. Myst Francais and Myst Deutsch appear to be all right in iOS4.

Thank you guys! I just synced up my novel iPhone 4 and have been examining everything my applications. And when I watched that Myst was crashing I was terrified I was going to miss everything my progress and have to begin over. Glad to experience it's only an issue with iOS 4.0 and a fix is in the works.

An update to Myst and Myst Free was only directed to Apple now. Nowadays we await for Apple's approval. If sanctioned, they should be in the application store in a week to ten days. If refused then obviously longer.

Even! We only finished and submitted Manhole Masterpiece for the iPhone or iTouch or iPad to Apple for approval. When any of these applications have been sanctioned and are in the app store, I will post in the declarations.

A original die hard of Myst just downloaded myst on his iPhone 3gs and he awaited actually long and eagerly to play it. He had read that the IOS4 patch update is coming soon but had not expected that it won't run yet once.

Then he waited actually long and felt actually happy that it was a big game at least the 5$ were going for something big. After a lot of time the time eventually came to play the game that he had played in his childhood and acquired impressed.

He began it and then everything for a abrupt after showing a myst scene that he enjoyed thus much ... it crashed................ Then he examined out the posts and then he is awaiting for apple to sanction it.........

Sorry, I didn't mean to mislead. It runs with every three (four?) instruments. But it is the similar version with everything . By the way, we submitted Manhole a day after the Myst update was submitted, thus it should be close!

Hey, Osmo would be a larger project but it possible . Something to think about for the future. Right now, we are working on Riven and a still un-declared application that is a bit different as compared to other Cyan games.

I'm glad you detected it. Sometimes it does take a little when from when the update is available with iTunes until it shows up in your update list and every updates for iPhone or iTouch or iPad applications are free. And theoretically also if you miss all your copies of an application, the App Store will remember you bought it and let you to download it again for free.

Hence, I already purchased v1.1.5 and could not open it on my iTouch, and today that I watch the updated v1.1.6, I am wondering if I have to buy again? I never also acquired to apply the first one and paid $5, and can't watch how it would be fair to pay another $5 for a fix to the original... HELP, Am I missing an update link or something? I will be seriously ticked off if I'm wanted to pay again for an app that never worked for me in the first place.

It might be possible that the auto saved file is corrupt. You can force Myst to begin a novel game by running the Settings app , detect Myst settings and set "Reset Current Game" to ON, it will automatically go to OFF when the Myst app is began the next time.
