Default Three N/w with a Car phone storage's

    Hi All,
I moved now to purchase theSamsung Jet at Carfone warehouse, still they suggested versuspurchasing it like, also if it could work at the commencing with the3 SIM, the SIM would not realize it like a 3 N/W phone, thus wouldship a "feedback" to 3 that would stop the SIM with thatphone. Have anyone personal experience or any friend that is applyinga 3 SIM on that phone purchased at CPW?

    Hi,

I'm actually confused on the information you have been afforded by a Carfone Warehouse employee ! Did you want this handset with pay grade or contract. The reason I ask is that Carfone Warehouse have been guilty of attempting to keep off purchasers who expect a pay grade contract to move onto a monthly contract, like they earn more commission this way.

Like most of the Phones CPW supply are unlocked any SIM will work you would only require 3 to send you their SMS/MMS/GPRS etc settings which can generally be done through text message from them. The detail about reply to the network is a 11 1st for me and if it was me I would surely dispute this information.

Hi.thanks for your contribution. I was going to purchase a pay as you go.

I sent an email to 3 yesterday , an Indian guy from the Customer Service called me rear today telling that if I apply a 3 SIM with a non 3G phone, the account could be blocked.

-I asked particularly"what do you mean with 3G?3 network or 3g different from 2G? I answered 3 Huntchinson

    - I asked which would be the solution? "is to buy a 3G phone" in extra, i asked "can you send me a text message with all the settings"?
    answer: NO

It seems strange to me. Is it only because they expect me to purchase their phone?

    Hi,

It's great your are acquiring some support from 3. Seeming at the full specifications of the phone it is listed like including 3g so I cannot watch why you can not apply their services. If I'm brutally honest I have always detected the 3 network to be tough to work with because of poor coverage where I live and work, their poor customer service , poor selection of handsets and the way they produce if tough to join their network with your own phone.

Appear at it this mode if your SIM does block then at least the handset is unlocked and you can select any network you like. And yes they expect you to purchase the handset from them like this is how they produce money. Even as you say you expect a pay grade contract which is minimum commission for the salesperson thus they would be more interested in you like they earn commission for selling you a 12/18/24 month term with a high end phone.

The 3G, or 3rd generation, mobile network allows you actually produce the most of your mobile phone with a great scope of advanced services. On the most 3G mobile phones you can acquire online to examine your emails, acquire directions and even make video calls to friends and family. Including a 3G mobile phone allows you to bring advantage of a complete host of novel services such as video calling, music downloads and 3G mobile internet.

Thank you again. Yes the quick call is welcomed. I actually would like to purchase it,but what worries me is that: in few auctions on ebay the phone is depicted like working with every networks exclude Three. Even at the phone page at CPW, Every networks are showed but not Three. Like to alter the network , I would enjoy to remain with 3 because of the tariff, but the signal in some area is not excellent. I surprise if Tesco is 3g.

I would advise you examine it Tesco's Website and or contact their customer services centre to pose that question. Few of the handsets offered on their site do back up 3g. Beware that tesco charge £4 per MB for WAP over GPRS. This could finish up being expensive if you intend to apply this service heavily.

How customer friendly are they....... not !! Bullying contacts = purchase a phone from us or we may block your SIM. I would seriously seem at joining a more friendly open network !
