    Default Unlocked or Locked

I recently examined the discussionboard to watch what the difference was between a locked and unlockedcell phone was. I watched a post that told: A locked phone is tied toone particular provider, like to where an unlocked phone can beturned on with any provider, but are more expensive to buy. I thankedthis person for the info, then contacted Verizon to support that theywould turn my novel phone with and I prescribed my unlocked phone.

Verizon supported that they wouldchange my phone with. Another person responsed to my thread and said"Not with Verizon!" I only expected to allow you experiencethat Verizon does turn with unlocked phones. The phone that I boughtwas unlocked and Verizon only had me travel my SIM card from my oldphone to my novel phone, by with my battery, because it was theperfect like phone and they actuated the novel phone at no charge.

The reason Verizon doesn't apply unlocked phones is that with GSM devices apply unlocked phones. Verizon and Sprint apply CDMA and do not apply a SIM. The point is you cannot apply an At&t device with Verizon below any circumstance or vice versa.

Don't confuse this with the novel iPhone 4S which operates with Verizon/Sprint but even has a SIM card slot. Those devices bought for Sprint/Verizon will not operate with At&t or T-mobile unless you purchase it directly from Apple unlocked.

I was told by an Ebay seller that has a big store that Verizon CDMA phones do not apply SIM cards. This confused me when I went to purchase another phone, because my phone is a CDMA phone & applies a SIM card. I told him that it is an LG VX8360, which is the perfect similar phone I was going to buy from him.

He said that it's a verizon phone & doesn't apply a SIM card. I was appearing at the SIM card in my phone at the time we were speaking. I have had it for more as compared to two years. It's not novel. I don't understand, unless he didn't experience what he was selling.

By unlocking your mobile phone, your mobile phone can support only GSM SIM cards of any network provider. CDMA concept is different; CDMA phones are also unlocked and then you can use CDMA SIM cards of other network providers also
