I am appearing for a phone for my sonfor his birthday, but I expect a phone without internet. I do notexpect an application or OS on the phone that would support browsing.He would enjoy a touch screen and complete keyboard, which I think isgoing to be difficult to acquire without internet. If I have toacquire a phone with internet and a no data plan, can I even changethe phone thus he does not also watch the web app or link on thedisplay of the phone?

I am not aware of any device as you described that does not have internet capabilities. If you are applying T-mobile or At&t, you can buy an unbranded/unlocked GSM handset and have the internet blocked but if you purchase it from them, you will be needed to have a data characteristic. Hold in mind you can not do the similar thing w/ Verizon or Sprint.

Therefore, if I purchase an unlocked phone and apply my AT&T SIM card that is with a "phone" just plan, no data; then the internet is blocked? Would there be a mode that I then could alter the display so the web icon would not be with the display of a phone?

If you acquired an unlocked/unbranded device, only call CS to have the data block characteristic blocked with the account at n/c. To go one step ahead, an unlocked/unbranded handset the internet features/settings will not be install so there could be no accidental usage.

Hi, I only watched your question and yes you can go to johns phone or ebay or amazon and acquire a john's phone. It is the worlds simplest cell phone. There is no internet,camera,OS,or applications on the phone. It is exact for young kids or teens or adults. You can apply it brings a SIM card and you can have a prepaid or contract plan with the SIM.
