Default A simple phone to travel with for emergencies.

I think it is time for me to purchase a cell phone and I have watched too many and there are too many contracts....it is impossible. I want a phone if I go by train and require few one to pick me up. I have a land phone and laptop at home. I do not travel that much any more like I am retired and the economy is such that we are home a much more. I want a phone with rollover minutes and I will pay for more when I require them. Any suggestions would be good and appreciated.

Rollover minutes are restricted to postpaid wireless plans . If you are appearing for acquiring by with the cheap, you might need to view prepaid rather than postpaid since you have already stated you are home most of the time, applying your landline presumably. Fortunately there are a complete slew of prepaid alternatives, and as well phones to match.

First figure out what carriers impart the more beneficial service at your location. If you can not acquire a signal also prepaid is unable. If your budget permits and you want to pull the trigger.

I went to Radio Shack this am and watched the "GO" cell phone which I think you were talking about. You only by the phone and then plus minutes when you require them, but you must do it earlier the minutes run out! Not hard t do. It is made by AT&T....You can also call the people from your house to put more minutes on the phone.

Glad you detected a cheap alternative to fir your requirements. My people already switched one of their lines to prepaid and have complained a much more less about their bills.

I think "Pepe7" was extreme accurate. If I had to acquire a novel phone/carrier, I would definitely do like. "Pepe7's" one statement was key info; "First figure out what carriers affford the best service at your location. If you can not acquire a signal as well prepaid is useless." That is why I may attempt another carrier next time.

As well tho my current cell co. has the lowest rates, I have bad cell connection from within my house, and it is aggravating to have to go outside each time I want to create an LD call. I as well held my landline for the same reason, incoming LD calls are exact with century Link.

I only went in to watch what T mobile have, but there is no clarity in Northeast Pennsylvania and you cannot hear anything. The AT&T I think will be my selection, but I am examining all. There were no cell phones when we were going to college! I detected the AT&T at Radio Shack....I am however going to examine, like I am not in a rush. When I detected something I will tell you what I acquire.

The just phone that has roll over minutes is AT&T, but the service is lousy and if and when I go to Pa., the service is good, thus Gusto is good plenty for my purposes. This site is extreme useful and I am glad you were there to assist.

There is so much selection out there and it is not a one size fits all either. I would recommend dropping into like many phone shops like potential, trawl the web, and ask friends - collect like much information like potential. Think about perfectly what you need to apply it for. It do not be fooled by the many additional that are offered which you would not ever requirement.
