After the UX21 and UX31 Asus, zoom on another Ultrabook expected soonin the hexagon, the Toshiba Portege Z830, a 13.3-inch model thin andlight platform on Intel Huron River Sandy Bridge processor with lowpower consumption, USB 3.0 SSD.
Toshiba Portege Z830 is finer andbetter equipped with a backlit keyboard and more connectionsprovided. However, its resolution of 1366 × 768 is less than that ofthe UX31 (1600 × 900) but has a matte screen normally while the Asusis a priori him sporting a glossy panel.
The Toshiba Portege Z830, whichrepresents the first Ultrabook of the Japanese, will land in thecoming weeks in France in the configuration detailed above at 999euros, probably in November. Again, not clear whether consumers willbe sufficiently impressed to pay such a sum.
As a reminder, Ultrabooks is a conceptlabeled by Intel involving thin (21mm max for the 14 + inch, 18mm maxfor smaller sizes), light weight, minimum autonomy of 5 hours, quickstart and good performance.
