Click "Start"Then "Control Panel"Look for the "Power Options" icon and open it.Click the tab that says "Advanced"Then check the box that says "Always show this icon in taskbar".Modify your question and let me know if this doesn't work, or email me.
Do you see a light bulb thing in your start-up bottom right bar area? If so, it's still there. Unplug your power source, then right click on the light bulb to reset the power saving modes. It's called Toshiba Power Management Properties. If the light bulb icon isn't there, then you might have deleted it. You might have to ask geek squad or someone to help you get it back.
You might have changed the power profile so go to Start>Control panel>performance and maintenance>power options then choose "Toshiba power saver" from the drop-down list and it should come back...if it doesn't then you might have uninstalled it, go to http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=UKand enter the details in the form then click search and download the fileShould fix the problem
dont worry. just install the 'toshiba power saver' program from your toshiba provided DVD. if you dont have the CD/DVD dont worry either.Visit the following 'http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_modSel.jsp' and download the power saver program from there according to your laptop model and OSCheers mate
