The action adventure Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is starting thisweek on the shelves of dealers. However, there was a long andsometimes bloody hard road to the release. This goes at least from arecent interview with Creative Director Amy Hennig forth. Thisreports on a fairly brutal "Crunch Time" duringdevelopment. As a "crunch time" refers to the periodshortly before the completion of a game.
"It was the hardest thing I've ever made in this industry. Thistime it was pretty brutal. There is always a crunch time, peoplealways do some overtime. But this time, if only because of the scaleand ambition of this game was done very much in the time that we hadto do - and that, although we have already cut some things. We alsohad extra pressure, because we had more languages than everbefore - as in speech and writing."
