On April 16, the Toy Soldiers map packs add-on game to FEAR 2: Project Origin ™ is available for free from Xbox LIVE Marketplace. This is the first of three additions to be available from now until summer 2009. Fans can expect a premium theme and picture pack, additional multiplayer Elite Powered Armor (EPA) in May of maps and single-player levels, multiplayer maps and much more.

The map Toy Soldiers Pack allows players to experience the multiplayer in a new light, as it is reduced in size to only inches high and a battle inside the pinball machine, living room of a hospital laboratory, a playground and sand.
