Madden NFL 08 problem?

I recently got Madden NFL 08 for my Xbox 360, I think maybe last month, and so far it's pretty good. However, the more I've been playing, the more I notice a certain deficiency in the games mechanics. Now, is it just me, or is the interception count way too high to be realistic (on both sides that is)?

Try playing it in All Madden difficulty, this usually helps the game be more realistic for me at least.
