Set in the late 1570's, one year later than the original Tenchu, Tenchu: Return from Darkness permits players to suppose the role of the ninjas Rikimaru, Ayame or the strange Tesshu as they fight the evil Tenrai and his six lords of night. As silent assassins, players must employ wiliness, strategy, deadly stealth and an arsenal of weapons to overcome hazardous missions and protect the Japanese countryside from Tenrai's armies.

The new installment in the stealth ninja sequence - Tenchu: Return From Darkness - delivers the most practical, stealth-based, ninja action/adventure game yet. Tenchu: Return From Darkness marks enhanced gameplay, extra maps, new cut-scenes and Xbox Live potential with 2 player co-op gameplay.
