Has been more than three years afterthe launch of Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions, third-person shooterthat amidst the frozen wastes of the planet EDN III. Within the gameare rather well past ten years, during which there have been manychanges to the background we had known.

The planet itself, now colonized byvarious factions of humans, it is more like a huge frozen wastelandbut looks different, consisting of lush green forests, dusty desertsand even urban environments. This does not mean that the situation isless varied than in the past, indeed. The guerrilla war between theforces of the Snow Pirates NEVEC and now involves other humanfactions, ready to do battle for gaining higher doses of thermalenergy, plant and equipment essential to the survival of the humanrace on the planet lost.





Further complicating the situation wefind the usual Akrid, the indigenous creatures of the planet similarto insects except for the size, in some cases, really scary. Duringthe game, then we can use all the warring factions together, beingable to observe the conflict from different perspectives and withdifferent goals and objectives. This is the first major break withthe past: we no longer have the classic main protagonist in search oftruth, replaced by the common soldiers of opposing armies dependingon the chapter played.

The backbone of the whole product is infact entirely committed to cooperative multiplayer experience, achoice that would have been hard to live with the presence of asingle protagonist.
