Civilization Revolution puts itsfoundations on the same ground of the other titles in the series: theplayer's aim is to develop a civilization on Earth, from the firststeps without scientific knowledge , cultural and military, ferry intime to the modern age of discovery in the discovery and conquest toconquest. Obviously we are not alone on the globe: as you explore anddiscover new lands (at the beginning we have visibility of only asmall piece of land, and moving our troops we can discover newterritories), will get in contact with other civilizations. Initiallythese will prove often friendly, but as we begin to conquer land andknowledge, they too will also become increasingly ambitious, and itinevitably comes to the point where we will declare war, though ofcourse we did not already attacking us.

The core gameplay of the game istherefore a strategy / turn-based simulation, in which player is thepurpose of their way for thousands of years BC up to present day, managing to prevail over the other civilizations in one of thepossible areas of development: Military ( winning a number of enemycapitals), cultural (building a bunch of great wonders), economic(accumulating a certain number of gold coins in the coffers of thestate) or population (reaching a set number of citizens). Startcampaign game with a leader chosen from among many celebrities of thepast, and to achieve these goals at every turn we can perform severalactions: to build new units in our cities, move the drives in thearea, attacking enemy units or cities, or constructing buildings suchas markets, temples and barracks, then that will affect economicdevelopment, military and cultural heritage of our civilization.

Each of these actions will last anumber of rounds depending on its complexity, so if we decide tobuild such a cavalry unit in a city, we know that total rounds thatcity can not produce anything more, until the unit will ready. Forthis reason it will be of primary importance to use a particular typeof unit, the settlers to found new cities through which "parallelize"the production and development in various fields mentioned above.
